New Carmencita Lavazza Aluminum Coffee Maker

The iconic moka inspired by the Carosello character and designed by Zanuso in 1979 is back more current than ever!
Carmencita is all new: a design icon has returned for coffee lovers with mocha, it dresses in classic and chooses satin aluminum to enhance its lines

 

The design

Carmencita takes shape thanks to the creative flair of Marco Zanuso and becomes a coffee maker.

The peculiarity is in the 90° handle which allows an easier grip and movement than the classic moka. It becomes a coveted design object for all coffee lovers.

 

The character

Cone-shaped silhouette, dark eyes, heart-shaped mouth and two long black braids. Carmencita is, together with her beloved Cabalero, the undisputed queen of a surreal western-style telenovela written by Armando Testa for Carosello. From 1965 to 1977, every night on TV.

 

The return

Lavazza entrusts the restyling of the moka to the Turin Polytechnic.
The design is intact in strength and originality, it is an accessory that goes beyond its function and becomes a modern and timeless piece of furniture.
